90% people use Notebooks with Windows

Acer and Toshiba workers have revealed that about 90% of the costumers buy notebooks with Windows rather than going for the Linux one.DELL also expresses the same,and says that the percentage is almost the same.It is said that,people are having problems with Linux and are going for the alternative.


For Windows fans,this would be a good news and obviously a bad one for Linux fans.Now the companies are going for manufacturing notebooks with Windows operating system,because the demand is getting higher.

This is a sure time for Linux to think over,and bring back their market and don't loose their potential costumers.

Nissan will use Robot BR23C for Convenient Auto Driving

It would not be long enough when a robot will drive you home,keeping an accident free traffic.Nissan would be using the BR23C in its cars for this purpose.So far the BR23C is a robot which recognizes footsteps and follows them.See the video on read more.






Nissan is working on the 'next generation transportation system'.The BR23C robot will actually communicate with the car and drive with passengers and taking them to places.This concept,when implemented will assure that no more accidents occur on the road.

GPS Chip to Locate Laptops and Block Hard Disks

Your personal data is very important to you,right !!.And if by chance its stolen,the situation is horrible then.You may get the hard disk encrypted by some security software but there is no solution,when someone steals your laptop.Now 'Ericsson' and 'Intel' are designing a solution for this very problem.


The two companies are developing a chip for dual purpose,one to track the laptop location and the other to block the hard disk.With this,data security will come in true means and a normal user ca get an assurance of its data.

This technology will be put to use in the mid of 2009.Its not out yet which companies would be going with this idea,but surely it would be appreciated by all.

Nokia has announced its very first 'Internet Radio'.Its designed for homes and offices.Nokia always keeps a sign of durability and reliability in its product,and this new project is determined to give the best to its users.The internet radio features Wi-Fi,USB,Ethernet,AUX line-in and can use both digital and analog outputs.


The concept of internet radio has always been fascinating,as far as geeks are concerned.The major plus point for this gadget is the access of radio without havign to sit near your PC.It also catches FM signals.

Nokia users have to wait for a bit,because Nokia always takes time to make its product,and assures good quality.So,we have to wait for this one to come out in the market.

Land Rover Mobile Phones - S1 and S2 G4

Land Rover joins in a venture with Sonim Technologies,for making eco-friendly mobile phones.Land Rover has its very own unique identity as a car company,so do they want to do with the mobiles.The one in the above pic is the first (Land Rover S1) of the three mobile phone series.


The Land Rover S1 and S2 G4 are will be rugged and could survive fog,salt,humidity and a 1.6 meter fall from any angle.Bluetooth feature would also be included.Keeping them eco-friendly would be the post-consumer plastic and recycled material.

The S1 and S2 G4 would be out hopefully in the middle of 2009 and the third one in 2010.This one mobile i sure wan't to have.What about you?.

Applause Machine Claps to make you Confident

The machine is not very complicated.Standing about 18'' high on a wooden base,the machine starts clapping with a button press.However the one major drawback is the sound that it creates,the clapping sound is hard to hear because of the motor sound.See the video for this.





Its made out of power-coated steel,plastic,walnut and brass.Two AAA batteries are needed to run this "kickass" machine.Five colors are available Red,Green,Orange,Black and White.A total of 250 machines will be manufactured.
