Transformer Insipred USB Drive

If you are a fan Transformers, then you should totally love this new gadget. Its a 2GB drive, that for real transforms into a fierce cat. I was actually waiting myself for a Transformer USB and watching this for the first time made me real happy. But this USB has to pre-ordered in order you want it.

The major drawback for this 'cool' USB is that, the price is $43 which is alot more than you pay for a 2GB USB. However, it can be bought as a collector's item. It would be releasing in September, you can order it here.

1GB USB made out of Cardboard

Recycling stuff and making them more useful, is what I like the most. This time its Colin Garceau who has designed a 1GB USB out of a cardboard. This was actually done by him for his packaging class. Corrugate cardboard is very handy as it is waterproof & fireproof, so there is no need to worry about the fearing factors.

In the above picture you can see is a cardboard plate. Actually when you crack it from the dotted lines the USB sticks get detached, this is an excellent way to package them as its very portable. It would be interesting to see other more useful and innovative recycle ideas.

Invisible Car Illusion created by Sara Watson

Invisible stuff has always been seen in movies and cartoons, but an artist Sara Watson of University of Central Lancashire has got this fantasy in reality. Well, she didn't literally made a car invisible but with the help of spray paints created an optical illusion so as to make her old Skoda Fabia invisible. This art work done by her is actually the reminiscent of the work of pavement artist Julian Beever whose work has caused a storm in central London.

Julian Beever uses a camera lens to look at the stretch of pavement he is working on and visualize the picture. He then plots a drawing which will play tricks on the way in which our minds 'read' perspective to create an impression of depth on the flat surface of the paving stones. Among his other works he has created a deep swimming pool realistic enough that shoppers swerve to avoid it, chalked on the street.

I am really impressed by Sara Watson, because creating such an art piece is not an easy task. Maybe one day we might see her doing some pavement on the streets of London.

Hitcahi World's Most Powerful Lithium Ion Battery for Cars

Electric car owners have a reason to smile as Hitachi has developed the world's most powerful Lithium Ion battery for cars. Hitachi is one company that has been a good name when its comes to buying batteries for your cars, as it has sold about 600,000 units since 2000. This is new battery is 70% more efficient and has 20% more lifeline than its predecessor.

The new battery has a output density of 4500 W and will exceed a lifespan of 10years. In my opinion there should be no confusions about the very fact that whether Hitachi's new battery should be trusted or not. I would definitely give away my money for this battery, as Hitachi has been a very powerful name in this field and if they are 'claiming" it to be the most efficient battery in the world: so common why not !!.

1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe for Auction at $10 Million

Do you like those classic speedy cars, which have a diamond grace that never dies. The Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe driven by Bob Bobdurant in the 1965 FIA GT Championship & came out as the winner, defeating the dominant Ferraris is now on for an auction starting from $10 million. If the bid crosses $10.9 million, then this car would be the most expensive classic car ever to be sold.

The one major edge this car has, is that its one of the only six ever built. The auction for this beauty would be on 18th May in Indianapolis at the Mecum Auction House. Last year it was the 1961 Ferrari California Spyder sold by RM and became the most expensive classic car ever sold. Lets see if this Shelby can take up the number one place or not.
