Windows 7 USB Installer for Netbook Users

The latest edition to the Window's tree is Window 7, which has been buzzing all over the internet ever since its release. Windows7 has three releases Ultimate, Professional and Home Edition. Microsoft really wants to get as much consumer's attention they can possibly get and for this very reason they are now targeting the netbook users, by giving them option to download and install Windows 7 via USB drive.

For netbook users whom probably don't have a CD or DVD drive, this is actually a nice option to get a hold of the new Windows 7.

The Microsoft tool would download the Window 7 files into the USB and convert your USB drive into a bootable installer. The program may also be called Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool (WUDT).

Remember you need to have a USB drive which has sufficient enough space to hold on all the files.

It is now available at Microsoft Online Store.

Convert Cassette Songs with Sound Blaster Easy Recorder

Do you have a cassette collection which you want to listen, but don't have time away from your PC or the old cassette player has died off. Creative has came up with a ingenious solution to play all your old cassette and vinyl records with the help of the Sound Blaster Easy Record USB device. All you gotta do is connect one end to the PC and the other a working vinyl or cassette player, through the stereo RCA inputs or the 3.5mm line-in connector.

There is a software you need to install and then the convert process can begin. The software allows you to remove any hisses, clicks and pops present in analog recordings in the audio restoration process with Creative's proprietary Audio Clean-Up. Moreover there is Track Segmentation feature which detects the silence in between the recording and splits the recorded audio into individual tracks. It also has a headphone jack to listen to the music while it is being recorded.

You can connect the device cassette decks, MiniDisc players, turntables and other audio equipment easily to get digital music in no time. It would be supported by XP, Vista and Windows 7.

The Sound Blaster Easy Recorder would be available at Creative online store by the mid of this coming October at a price of $34.77.
