Best Creative Designed Barcodes

Barcode is used all over the world to represent something into a machine readable form. Usually barcodes are used for different consumer products. You must have seen at shopping malls when something is bought, the salesperson scans the barcode of that product and the price of that particular item shows up on the computer.


According to Wikipedia:

Originally, barcodes represented data in the widths (lines) and the spacings of parallel lines, and may be referred to as linear or 1D (1 dimensional) barcodes. They also come in patterns of squares, dots, hexagons and other geometric patterns within images termed 2D (2 dimensional) matrix codes. Although 2D systems use symbols other than bars, they are generally referred to as barcodes as well.

D-Barcode is a company which has been making interesting and different barcodes for Japanese clients mostly. These barcodes are designed to compliment the product, which are really nice & attractive.

This is actually very creative and inspiring, as you can see in the above pictures that how they have symbolized different barcodes so that even a common person can understand what is it all about.

Facebook Emotions and Special Characters

Facebook is definitely the most exciting social network used by millions of people. Users update their current happenings in their status messages, share videos or pics and can chat on the go with their friends. Recently I came across some of the Facebook emotions which you can use while doing the live chat and some special characters which you can use on the status msg etc. Below you can see how you can make different smileys and use different special characters in Facebook.

One Million Members on Facebook Group to Make a Dream Into Reality

How far would you go to reach out for your dream and make it a reality. An ordinary person wanted to be a pirate but he never wasn't able to do so. He then wished to redesign his home into a pirate ship but his girlfriend came in between this. Then they both agreed that if 1million people join a group on Facebook in favor of this idea the house would be converted into a pirate ship. And who would have ever thought that his dream would come into a reality, because 1million for real joined this group. As they say "when there is a will, there is a way".


Facebook rises up as a lifesaver for the wanabe pirate guy.Below you can see a screenshot of the page.

1st Nov 2009 - Well that's incredible! the group has reached 1 million people me and my girlfriend never expected anything like this. With my girlfriends permission I will begin the process of clearing building consent and drawing up structural blueprints for the foundations

This story is for sure one to be told as it is just over the top and gives a real inspiration that nothing is impossible, all you gotta do is keep on the struggle. But I would suggest to get a girlfriend whom is more easily convinced ;).
