On this paper I am going to look at the impact globalization has on schooling whether it is positive or detrimental. The decline of direct parental involvement, poor college training college preparation for lecturers, misdirected and inconsistent standardized testing efforts, and the dearth of any instructor testing and annual monitoring of teacher progress have all contributed to the issues in public education, and alarming lack of results and preparation of our youngsters.
