With the subject of immigration reform being a hot topic in Washington, there has been much talk of expanding the opportunities for graduates with advanced degrees in science, technology, engineering and math (“STEM”) to obtain a green card. Students in the Department of Science, Technology and Mathematics can choose our Pre-Medicine Program, apply for scholarships funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation or work at off-campus internships through collaborations with programs at Duke University, Tufts University and James Madison University.
